Wallace Lawson is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. He has been in the healthcare field for over 18 years, including serving in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medical Sergeant wherein he received an honorable discharge in 2005. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Lawson worked as a Registered Nurse in a hospital telemetry unit. 

Most recently, Mr. Lawson had the privilege of training under Dr. Todd J. Swick, a world- renowned sleep doctor and specialist in sleep medicine, who mentored Mr. Lawson in sleep disorders. Dr. Swick's medical practice was one of the largest narcolepsy practices in Texas, providing Mr. Lawson in-depth knowledge and specialized experience in the care and treatment of narcolepsy patients. 

Driven to constantly improve his knowledge and the services provided, Mr. Lawson frequently attends conferences and society meetings to learn about the latest advancements in the sleep and narcolepsy fields. In addition, Mr. Lawson is a member of Texas Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In all of these ways and more, he is able to provide patients with the highest quality of care. 

On a personal note, Mr. Lawson enjoys his family, outdoor activities and believes in developing relationships in order to provide personalized care, tailored to meet each patient's specific needs. 

Mr. Lawson treats patients using telehealth services for those located throughout Texas such as in Houston, Cypress, Galveston, Texas City, Canyon Lake, Addicks Park Ten, Hockley, Copperfield Place, Westbranch, Lakewood Forest, Willowbrook, and Port Arthur.
